Heidi Somers. AKA “Buff Bunny.” So many things I could say about this girl.
Stereotypes could lead us to believe many things about Heidi (ew! Stereotypes are for losers.) but I can guarantee you that none of those stereotypes would live up to her ACTUAL reputation.
Let me tell you some things you need to known about this bombshell.
First things first, she was raised in North Pole, Alaska! Uhm, seriously? How freaking cool is that? No real reason you need to know this other than the fact that it’s totally awesome! Explains a lot actually. Heidi is one of the most easy going, goofy athletes in the game.
She loves donuts. Like, she’s actually obsessed. She makes her love for donuts clearly evident which usually results in boxes and boxes of gifted donuts at her meet and greets (color me jealous.)
She loves adventure and is a bit of a history buff. Her dad is a history major and has instilled that love in her. Recently she visited Auschwitz (the largest Nazi concentration and death camp,) and shared the touching experience to her YouTube channel.
She moved 3,000 miles away from home on her own (sound familiar?) worked four jobs to get herself through school and pay bills; competed in 3 bikini competitions, and much MUCH more. Nothing has ever been handed to her. She’s created a life by design through hard work.
I mean, look. These things alone are reason enough to check her out, but I’m going to give you some more. I had the opportunity to interview Heidi and I think you’ll want to hear what she has to say.
Today Heidi will be sharing her favorite quick, healthy meals; the biggest misconception of the fitness industry, and her tips and tricks for preparing for a photoshoot or special event.
It’s good guys! Keep reading.
SO HEIDI, TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
I was born and raised in the small town of North Pole, Alaska. When I was 20 years old I juggled 4 jobs to save up the money to move to a new city. I left behind all my friends and family to move to San Antonio, Texas. I decided to do a huge move for an adventure and better opportunities. Since then I have become very involved in the fitness industry and love being able to encourage others to become healthier and happier versions of themselves.
