Robotic Laparoscopic Hysterectomy: Week 3 & 4 Recovery

The toughest week of recovery, body odors, and more!

( 0:53 ) Week three being the most difficult week up to that point.

( 1:16 ) Feeling tugging and pinching.

( 1:20 ) Doing too much. Feeling fatigue.

( 1:25 ) Off all medication.

( 2:05 ) Back to my normal routine, doing things I shouldn’t be doing.

( 2:27 ) Feeling like my bladder was dropping.

( 3:20 ) Going back on “bed rest.”

( 4:48 ) Post-op appointment with my surgeon.

( 6:15 ) Experiencing “swelly-belly.”

( 6:24 ) Fatigue.

( 6:38 ) Insatiable appetite.

( 7:26 ) Heightened sex drive.

( 8:36 ) Fake it ’till you make it mentality. Survival mode.

( 9:24 ) Very minimal spotting.

( 9: 58 ) Finally went grocery shopping, with help. Unexpected emotions.

( 11: 05 ) Glue on my incisions started to shed.

( 11:44 ) Body odor.

( 12:20 ) Ovaries “waking up.”

( 13:00 ) Acne.

( 13:30 ) Dealing with insecurities.

( 14:05 ) First day trip out of town to Dave and Busters.

( 14:37 ) Following day feeling sore, nauseas, and fatigued.
